Two ActiveRain women spent the evening in my arms....

Well, at least for the duration of this picture.... ( That's me in the middle )

I had the pleasure this evening to spend some time with Lorrie Semler and Karen Otto. As always, it is a pleasure to spend time with quality individuals who are committed to their segment of this wild and crazy industry.

We got together for a Monthly Happy Hour at Carsons for a little Hump Day stress relief and conversation... courtesy of the Dallas Association of Mortgage Professionals Partiers! ( DFWAMP ). And good conversation it was, indeed. If you haven't met these two ladies, you should make the effort. They are smart and fun gals who make a difference in this neck of the woods.

I look forward to many more exchanges and even bigger events that we have planned. If anyone can make it.... these little get togethers are energizing, productive and fun. And I owe it all to the great company!!!

Tom... I see 4 women.... lol I am including the beer also... lol Seriously, glad that you all could get together. Sorry that I couldn't make it, but as I mentioned, my jet was in the hanger for repairs. Now, ladies, give Tom some business. ;o)

Oh.... they 'gave me the business' alright.... LOL... But it was a lot of fun.

Tom, Dallas is a little bit far for a happy hour but it looks like you had a fund time.

Tom, its great to enjoy your work!! Maybe Marchel and I should think on carpooling up to Dallas..? Oh wait, Austin and Houston are on the way to Dallas.. well not directly anyway! :)

Freudian slip Marchel? Fund time? LOL. We will have something soon that will make it worth the drive up here.

Linda: We will put you down as confirmed on the next event.

Gail: As I mentioned above.... we will have other gatherings.... And it will be worth the trip.

Tom, if you are going to make a freudian slip I guess it needs to be appropriate for the audience (lol).

It was fun and from some of the comments I see here, what we talked about last night, getting a big AR roundup of the TEXAS RE Pros sounds like it may be something that we could set our calendars for in 08'.
