As we reflect on the 4th quarter of real estate we begin to see the price on the market begin to balance itself back a realistic expectation. But really, what does that mean to us (real estate professional and house owners/purchasers)? it means that if you are going to list or consider put a house on the market it better have the right price or you may become a needless victim of a evolving market.
Cheer up...it gets worse. If we as a society do not adjust to the current trend in the market we may not be able to list and sell houses in this market. I believe the recent trend having more and more people trying to sell their homes by themselves is due to the fact that either they believe that can eliminate the Realtor and make more money or they met a Realtor that gave them a realistic price for the current market and did not like the price.
