This is a great question that we all our asked over and over again. "I have no real answer however I will be glad to provide you yearly updates on values in the neighborhood should you chose to move forward on this home" is my reply!

Richard Weisser Coweta Fayette Real Estate:
It’s one of the questions that I am asked most often and it’s still the one of the few that I WON’T answer:
“What will this house be worth five years from now?”
There are variants, but only in the number of years. “Two years?” “Ten years?” You get the picture.
I am a salesperson, not a prognosticator. There are too many variables in the economy.
If I WAS able to predict the economic future, I would not be selling real estate. I would be trading equities in the stock markets.
There are no sure things. The safest tact is to only buy a property that meets your immediate needs.
And understand that speculation is just that. No more, no less!

Right On Joe. When the market was climbing so quickly we had the same question. Your answer is right. If it is a good value for you now and the payments are right - buy.
Joe - It is a question that comes up on a daily basis. The one thing that sticks in my mind is that until the housing supply of available homes is greatly reduced I don't see home values increasing on a large scale.
