The Hemet - San Jacinto Valley attract new families and businesses to our area for many reasons.  High on the list has to be the culture our valley has that emphasizes family values.  Our residents and business leaders interact with one another on a daily basis with integrity - which is a breath of fresh air when comparing the environment found in Southern California cities.  The Hemet - San Jacinto Valley offers convenience to some of the world's great recreational facilities making the possibilities almost endless.  Of course, our mild climate is another huge reason to attract newcomers to our valley.

Every member of the family can find something to do and enjoy . . . regardless of age!  It does not matter if your interest is in sports and recreational activities to shopping or even a leisure fine dining experience at one of our many wonderful restaurants.

The community has been in a state of rapid growth, yet achieving it's goal of persevering our own brand of uniqueness.  Both Hemet and San Jacinto have actively been revitalizing the historical downtown areas, with more enhancements underway.

Diamond Valley Lake and the many recreational opportunities it brings to the region destine the Hemet/San Jacinto Valley to become a premiere tourist attraction

The local business community is in a state of influx.  Major retailers and restaurants have opened their doors in the valley over the past several years, including two separate Super WalMart Stores, Lowe's, Marshalls, Pier 1 Imports, PetCo, Pet Smart, Office Depot, Fresh & Easy, Chili's, Applebee's and Mimi's Café...just to name a few of the most recent.

The Hemet Valley Mall saw a recent renovation and is anchored by Sears, J.C. Penny's and Gottschalks and just acquired an adjoining parcel of almost 9 acres for a mall expansion.  The region is adding two additional regional shopping districts.  Hemet is currently working on the plans for Garrett Ranch at Warren and Florida Avenues, offering 200 acres with over a million square feet of mixed lifestyle community that will feature a lifestyle center, traditional retail, and free standing "big-box" retailers, with restaurants, office and residential components.   Meanwhile  San Jacinto is getting closer to starting construction on the Gateway project at Sanderson and the Ramona Expressway will occupy over 1700 acres of   retail, office, business park, healthcare, residential, civic, and mixed-use opportunities.

The housing market exploded in the early to mid years of this decade.  Only recently has new construction waned, leaving the valley with an abundant supply of the most affordable and obtainable housing in all of the Inland Empire and throughout Southern California.

The obtainable price points for newer homes as well as established neighborhoods attract many first time home buyers as well as investors - both looking for a great place to build their future.

In addition to the abundant supply of exceptional housing values, many of the local senior communities, which put Hemet on the map over 40 years ago as a great place to live, are renovating and providing accommodations that are appealing to the baby-boomers as they enter into retirement and continue to contribute as a valuable segment of the valley's population.

Despite the changes in our national economy, the Hemet - San Jacinto Valley, located in South West Riverside County - the most desirable region of the Inland Empire, in southern California, offer some of the most outstanding prospects for a prosperous future.  The price points and abundance of our housing, and raw land combined with the easy access to the major metropolitan cites of Southern California, including Los Angeles, San Diego and Orange County  and the skilled work force and recreational facilities guarantee the bright future in store for the Hemet - San Jacinto Valley.
