The Livery Tavern’s Open House on First Friday in Lewisburg, WV

The Livery Tavern in Lewisburg WV

The doors to The Livery Tavern Restaurant opens for an Open House on First Friday, April 6, 2012.  Stop by from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM for complimentary hor'dorves and wine.  Also cash bar will be opened.

The Livery Tavern, reflects  this town's spirit, its warmth, charm and above all, it's hospitality.  The Livery Tavern and Stella’s is owned by John Hirt.  Both restaurants will be family operated...... John's sister Tammy Hirt Perilli is the manager of Stella's Tea House;  and his sister Nancy Stewart will be the manager for The Livery Tavern.

Like Stella’s, The Livery Tavern will also have a farm-to-table approach to the menu. John Hirt says he is working with a number of local growers and farmers to source as many of the menu items as possible, such as lamb, beef, buffalo, fish, goat and pork.

John said, "We’ll also be expanding our growing capabilities at Westwinds Ranch (my ranch in Virginia) so we can have better control of the quality of our ingredients.  Customers of The Livery Tavern will be able to enjoy elegant indoor seating as well as outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant on Washington Street and in a covered pavilion to the rear of the restaurant. Total seating (indoor and outdoor) will be closer to 100. The interior style will reflect a mid 1800’s tavern but with contemporary styling cues. Dawn (my wife) uses Ralph Lauren influences to accomplish this."

Bring your family and friends for an evening in downtown Lewisburg to enjoy music, art, food and fun!

The Livery Tavern is located on East Washington Street in Lewisburg, WV, across the street from the Lewisburg United Methodist Church and the U.S. Post Office.

Hi Rebecca,

The Livery Tavern looks like the perfect place for friendship to develop, stories to tell, and where memories will happen. The architecture is great! The concept is outstanding. I think everybody needs a place to go, where everyone knows your name, you can let your hair down, and just have a good time. I wish the owners much success! You marketed the business with class and style.

I sure enjoy watching your mighty well done Video Photo Slideshow. They sure did build a mighty good looking building.
