  I would like to introduce you to Pete the Pelican. 

  As planned, the pelican will be installed at the entrance of the boardwalk at    

  Shem Creek Park.

  Pete's big unveiling is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25th at  5pm. 

  This picture is from the studio at School of the Arts.

Laura - my son did an intership at Kiawah Island a few years ago and when we visited him, he took us to Shem Creek for dinner.  I don't remember the name of the restaurant but it was open to the outdoors and high over the water.  Beautiful place!
