Over the last few months, investors and foreclosures have ruled the day with the Dyersburg real estate market. I would say that over 75% of home sales over the last few months have been foreclosures.

The average sale time 6 months ago was about 6 months but now when the "priced right" foreclosure hits the market it almost never gets to the investor time period which means owner occupants are coming into the game and buying before the investor can actually bid.

Even properties needing lots of work are being purchased by owner occupants. I see this as a great sign that the Dyersburg real estate market is turning.

I work with several investors who are disappointed that there are not more great deals available to them. We are seeing a real decrease in the number of Dyersburg foreclosures coming online.
