Dancer At Bond Restaurant

Dining With Dancer, Sarasota, FL.  Sarasota is a very dog-friendly town, and most of the area's restaurants that feature outdoor dining welcome our canine companions.  As the proud owner of three lovable Siberian Huskies, that is very important to me.

The other day we took Dancer, our youngest Siberian, to lunch with us at Bond Restaurant in the Historic Burns Court district in downtown Sarasota,FL.  Our server, the always friendly and  efficient Rosemary, brought a fresh bowl of ice water for the appreicative Dancer before she even took our order.

It was a beautiful and sunny day in Sarasota, FL and a wonderful day to enjoy an outdoor meal.  The service was perfect, the meal was very satisfying, and Dancer was very happy to be there.  Dancer also appreciated the attention of nearby diners.

There are a large number of Dog-Friendly Restaurants In Sarasota, FL, and they genuinely add to the ambiance of the area. My only regret is that I'm not able to handle taking all three of my friends out to dine together.  Although they are all well-behaved, that is a lot of canine companionship with an outdoor meal in public!

Dining With Dancer is just one more reason to love living in Sarasota, FL!

You'd like Los Gatos, Ca too.  It's extremely dog friendly.  They are allowed in shops and banks, and many put out bisquits and water bowls.  I have to say, though, it's hard for me to hold back when I see a dog being pushed in a stroller!!

Thanks, Jayne.  I know what you mean about "dogs in strollers".  We have a lot of them in Sarasota.  The smaller dogs are very popular with our more mature population, and many of them utilize strollers to "walk" their companions!  It is what it is!

What a beautiful dog you have, and you say you have three? What a lovely family. I wish more restaurants in Cary were pet friendly, especially during the lovely weather.

Hi Bud and Beth,  Maybe you should get with other pet owners and start a petition.  I know it's worked in other areas.

Hi Emily,  Yes, dogs rule everywhere!  Especially in my household.  Here's a photo of all three . . .

Hi Sheila,

Three is a handful as you know, but I love 'em all!

Keith--Huskies in Florida--ha!!!  My husband wants to buy Dancer...I asked him to come over and see Dancer's picture and he said, can we adopt it??  NOPE! We have looked into Huskies and Malamutes because of their wolf-like looks.

Hi Gayle,

Thanks for your comments.  I had the same thoughts about Dancer when I saw him on my breeder's FB page.  I already had two, but I knew I had to have  him as part of the family.  He is a delight!  And Siberians do well in Florida.  In fact, I see more here in Sarasota every day.  They are great additions to your family, but don't expect a guard dog (they love everybody) and they are very, very smart.  Makes them harder to train, but it's worth it!
