KU Loses, Town maintains dignity

While KU recently lost the final game against Kentucky, you wouldn't know it by walking the streets of Lawrence, KS that night. As the game came to an end, the streets of downtown Lawrence were filled with many passionate fans that did not seem phased. No couches were burned, no cars vandalized beyond recognition, just a lot of people that were still happy! While some games, that could be argued were of less importance than the one at hand, were able to cause riots, damage and put lives at risk, it is great to know that there are still safe places to be able to be a sports fan! Rock Chalk Jayhawk Go KU! So remember, if you are looking for a place to move, keep the home of the Jayhawks in mind.

Hey Rob, as a Wildcat fan from many, many years ago, I too, am distressed at the behaviour of the crazies that call themselves "fans"!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Final Four this year, and the UK - KU game was one of the very best!  Best of success to you and the Jayhawks this coming year!
