This month we celebrate Christmas with "The Cookie Jar" team!
We've had the pleasure of enjoying these delicious cookies given that our office is only a couple doors down from them (that can be a good thing and bad thing too). The aroma of freshly baked cookies calls us in...it's hard to pass by their shop and ignore that they're there. You wouldn't blame us a bit if you knew how good these cookies taste, they're just not your ordinary cookies.
Jeff and Shirley (owners) took over the business in January 2007 and these two have been super busy since. Shirley's two sisters Patty & Mary also work at the cookie jar. While a couple are baking hundreds of cookies, the others are loading them in cars or wrapping gift trays "to go". Gift trays according to Patty are very popular, people just phone their orders in and they're ready for pick up in no time. But cookies isn't all they have to offer, you'll also find the most amazing cookie jars (hence the name), Red Hat gift items, greeting cards, and they also sell espresso and smoothies.
LET'S TALK COOKIE
Most popular cookie: "Believe it or not it's still the good ole' Chocolate Chip Cookie followed by the Snicker-doodle!"
What's New & Hot?:"That's gotta be the Choco-coco-spice" - yummy, I've gotta try that, anything spice!
What are people crazy about: "The chocolate crackle, people like it"
From Left to Right: Jeffrey (owner), Patty, Maria, Mary and Shirley (owner)
Folks, these cookies are unreal. The locals love them, kids love them, businesses love them and we...can't live without them - they're just too good! If you live in town and have never visited the cookie jar, you owe it to yourself to check them out, you won't be disappointed. Mary gift wrapping our order with a smile!
The Cookie Jar is open Monday - Friday, from 7am - 6pm. They do mail orders and deliveries also.
