Manhattan New York is a great city for so many reasons...

One of the fantastic reason to love New York is its Street Fair in the Spring/Summer time on the weekends. The city shut down a part of the Avenue and city blocks to host different vendors with exciting ethnic or traditional eats (sandwiches, corn on the cob, barbecue or popcorn) or merchants that sells anything from handbag, dresses, socks to earrings, array of little things.

Today we were walking around and bump into one of the street fair, today is the perfect weather for it in New York.  Today's street fair is the Sixth Avenue Chelsea Festival (Sixth Avenue between 23rd Street to 32nd Street)

(you can see the Empire State building when you look up the sky)
Next time you visit New York city around Spring/Summer time, make sure to check out a Street fair on the weekends.

Hi Eileen.....I love Manhattan..... I haven't visited there in many years, but I use to be there every couple of months....especially to the diamond district.... W42nd street area, if I remember correctly....most of my jewelry comes from there....

I had no idea a big city like NYC actually had frequent street fairs! Looks like a great way to spend a beautiful day! I haven't been to NYC in a long time, but will definitely add this leisurely activity to my list of things to do next time I get there in the spring or summer months.
