Good branding?

By
Real Estate Agent with Associated Brokers Of Pagosa

The "Real Estate Zebra" Daniel Rothamel provides his new series titled "Real Estate in Black and White".

I thought it very interesting , especially on the branding level. The question I am posing to myself is- Does it still come off as professional? Does it appeal to the masses or just a niche new generation web 2.0 savvy bunch.

I thought I would put it to the rainers for questioning. I do like it. I will be thinking hard about this type of advertising as I head off for the holidays and do a little reflecting.

I liked the basic concept but did not like the pages getting close, far, close, far from camera.  Sort of made me dizzy.  Just my opinion though.  The public could love it.

I like it for branding reasons. I don´t really like the black and white, but because of the combination of black and white and the name zebra, I will never forget the domain name realestatezebra.com

One word. Viral.

People all over the net are talking about him. And not in a scandalous way.

He is smart, He is different. Consumers will find that refreshing and flock to him.

It shows he is thinking outside the box.  He is not a "me too".  He is also doing some good branding.....I can see it now, down the road.........a franchise called "Real Estate Zebra".

"Me too" = no money

Creativity and thinking outside the box = profit

I think it's an excellent presentation.  The quirky style could get old in a hurry, but his content is compelling and simple to understand.  That's the key.  It all starts from content.  Apply the same quirkiness to lousy content and you end up with something that might get attention for a few seconds because it's quirky, but wouldn't hold most viewers attention through the entire presentation.

fun to watch and interesting...  I might watch it as a seller... not sure I would take the guy real serious given how poor the overall presentation was...

that's just me.

I consider myself kinda edgy likin all the newer stuff but I don't know. I think that maybe you "dumbed down" a little bit to the sellers.  Too basic for my tastes.  I think it's great your trying something new.
