I seem to do most of my work at home lately as it is quieter and I have fewer distractions. Since many of the birds have migrated back to California and are busy making nests, there seems to be a lot of activity outside. Today, I heard a lot of noise and it sounded like someone or something had upset the birds. About 400 ft away, I see a hawk just sitting on a post looking around.

I do not mind the chirping of the birds outside and think it is rather peaceful. It is like playing one of those relaxing tapes of the bird sounds. Happy Easter to all......

Happy Easter Kathleen.

My husband and I were just discussing how life has changed in the past few years. People do not drive to work like they always did before. So some people do not worry about a new car as often, gasoline and just the getting up, getting dressed up like we all did before. As realtors we still spend a lot of time out but some people like my BPO computer girl, computer techs, and many other professionals, do not need to drive to work every morning like before and work from home exclusively. Perhaps it is less stressful but I did so enjoy all my friends at the county for many years. And I like to go see my friends at the office too.

Hi Myrl,

You are so right; I multi-task every day as well. I get up early, work, run the dishwasher and washing machine, get dressed and my house is in order and it is only 8:30 a.m. We can work from home so much easier with home version faxes, scanners and of course our computers. Since I have paperless files now, I can work from anywhere with or without my computer but prefer to carry a lap top on trips so I am within reach of anything needed.

Hi Emily,

When I go on short trips, usually the hotel has a computer and I can send off anything I get a request for. I have a wonderful assistant if I need anyone to really do some leg work but it is hard to be away more than a couple of days at a time. My sellers are so important to me and the buyers need help right then and not in a couple of days.

It is great to be so mobile and I love my new iPhone as well since it does so much more than my old smart phone.

Good Morning Debra,

I just bathed my three darlings and so I am going to dry them and give them a quick brush and put their Easter scarves on for a photo session. I am sure they will not want to cooperate after the baths. My Terrier goes to the groomers monthly but doesn't like me to give her a bath....she likes to be pampered at the groomers.
