Peas. Twitter. Cancer. These three seemingly unrelated items have been brought together in an act of courage and zest by Susan Reynolds. Together they hold a powerful and valuable mission: to bring awareness to breast cancer and to raise money for research.

Susan has captured the power of the Twitter community in a simple and fun way. She modestly asks people to change their profile pictures on Twitter to become a PeasAvatar, in other words a photo with them and peas.

This is the foundation that the social communities we 'live' in were built on and during this Christmas season, I can't think of a better way to give.
