Did you know that there is a violent knitting game? Shocking! As an advid reader of the Wall Street Journal I read an article on the front page center column ... those that read the WSJ will know what I am referring to ... about a knitting game based on the video game "Assassin"
The rules go something like this. You are given a person to knit assissinate, by knitting a particular items (changes for each person). You are to knit your item and deliver it (via mail or Fed-Ex) to your victim before you receive yours.
I do declare that is the most fun I have ever heard using knitting needles.
There is a serious point to this. This is an example of a Generation Y "game" flowing up to a Baby Boomer group. This transfer of virtual worlds to real worlds is occuring in the oddest places and in fact is one one the Trends discussed in the Swanepoel Trends Report ... www.RETrends.com
