He Is Risen

Today, we pause to celebrate the joy and blessing of our Lord and Saviour, the Risen Christ who died for our sins.

"He is not here: for he is risen, as he said." Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

From Casting Crowns' "Glorious Day"...Death could not hold Him. The grave could not keep Him from rising again.

Blessed be the Lord Jesus Christ.

He is risen. He is risen indeed!

Hi, Sara:  Thank you for stopping by.  It truly is a great day.  We were reminded in church how blessed we are as Christians to have a saviour that lived and died for us, then rose again.  While we must surely be tolerant of other religions and folks choices, I will continue to proclaim that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven.  He's not a way, He's the way.  We're also blessed to live in a country where we're free to worship as we please, and we should also pause a moment today and remember those in ships or aircraft, or on foreign soil fighting to ensure that remains the case.  May God bless and keep our military in the palm of his hand today and every day.
