It is Saturday, we are ready to go home. But there is somebody trying to pull the door instead of pushing... happens every day. They guy just ventured in to find out the prices. He is from Canada, but lives in Jacksonville, but likes our beaches, and stays in the condo-hotel where we have our office – Fountain Beach Resort in Daytona Beach.
He saw something o the Internet, we discuss the prices, the overall market, and the conversation is quite casual. He told us that his brother from Canada likes the West Coast of Florida. He then told us that his brother bought several cheap condos and is renting them long term.
He told us that he put an offer on 13 condos with one deposit check for $10,000. His agent made copies of the check and submitted it with the offers. He then looked at us and said that it is important to have a good agent.
He said that there are very few of them. The problem with the rest is that they are too honest.
Wow, at least somebody considers us honest... even too honest...
I got all excited and said that there is no such thing as being too honest.
The guy lost interest in me and left.
He left and I kept thinking about what he said: being too honest.
Isn't it is like being a little pregnant?
