Happy Easter From Franklin, NC

What ever your beliefs I hope you and your family had a Happy Easter.  I remember as a kid waking up early and trying to beat my brothers down stairs before they found all the Easter Eggs.  We didn't go to a big park or a sponsored Egg Hunt.  It is sad today that people are ruining the true meaning of Good Friday and Easter and canceling the fun for the kids.

My day was spent with my Mother-in-Law at Lowe's buying flowers and Hummingbird food.  Coming home and planting what I bought and then enjoying some time on the deck with my husband on this beautiful day here in Franklin, NC.  Ended with a nice meal and relaxing the rest of the night.

 I hope some you guy's with kids had fun all day long and reflected on the true meaning of Easter.

June, it sounds like you and your loved-ones had a wonderful day!  This has been a wonderful weekend.  My "kids" are now 13 and 16...but my youngest still likes to dye Easter eggs and BOTH enjoy candy-filled eggs; although this year, my daughter (the youngest) decided to hide the eggs for us older folks!! LOL! So, my mom and I got to re-live our childhood this afternoon finding Easter eggs! LOL!
