WHEN WE GOT OUR DOGS, SIR DEMON AND FREYA WE COULDN'T WAIT TO TAKE THEM TO THE DOG BEACH. WE NEVER WANTED TO GET A TICKET OR NOT TAKE THEM TO A PLACE THEY COULD NOT GO TO. SO, WE KNEW WE HAD TO GET OUR INFORMATION RIGHT. WE LIVE ABOUT 5 MINUTES FROM THE BEACH, SO ANY OF THE BEACHES AND PARKS BELOW ARE WITHIN 5-20 MINUTES AWAY. SO, OUR DOGS ENJOY THE SOUTHERN CA BEACHES AND PARKS.


CORONA DEL MAR BEACH

A hidden little town... that is a GEM of NEWPORT BEACH is a charming city off the Pacific Coast and is a DOG FRIENDLY COMMUNITY.


While we might not have all day available, but mornings in Corona Del mar. We welcome leashed dogs from 6am to 9am & after 5pm, making it a perfect dog friendly beach for you & puppy or dog to ENJOY THE BEACH.

HUNTINGTON BEACH DOG BEACH


Orange County's "DOG FRIENDLIEST BEACH" where your dog can

swim, surf & play beach ball with his buddies all year around.

This expansive stretch of sand runs from 21st Street to Seapoint in North Huntington Beach and is Orange County's only dog permitted off leash beach. 

You'll find parking along PCH and in 2 designated parking lots north of Goldenwest. Parking is metered at $1.50 an hour so don't forget your QUARTERS!

Or you can hop on The Doggie Bus! YES, The Doggie Bus provides free transportation from Tustin, CA to Huntington Beach’s Dog Beach or Laguna Beach’s Dog Park on Saturday and Sundays. Don't live in Tustin? LAGUNA BEACH DOG PARK AND BEACH INFO.

LAGUNA BEACH DOG PARK AKA/ BARK PARK:

Parking for the Laguna Beach Dog Park

There is limited free parking in front of Laguna Gardens Nursery and additional metered parking directly in front of the Laguna Beach Dog Park along Laguna Canyon Road (Hwy 133), so don't forget to bring some quarters!

Make sure that you are careful as you enter and exit your vehicle, as traffic along Laguna Canyon can be fast moving. Also, when getting your dogs into or out of your vehicle make sure that your dogs are on leash to keep them safe from nearby passing vehicles until they have safely entered the entrance to the Bark Park.

LAGUNA BEACH /DOGS ALLOWED ON MAIN BEACH IN LAGUNA:

Dogs: From June 1 to Sept. 15, leashed dogs allowed on the beach only before 8 a.m. or after 6 p.m. From Sept. 16 to May 31, leashed dogs allowed on the beach at all times. You must pick up after your dog!

NEWPORT BEACH

Yes, Newport is a dog friendly beach! Leashed dogs are allowed before 9am and after 5pm that is, but that leaves you plenty of time to catch a gorgeous sunrise or sunset in this famous OC town.

That beach must have quite a sand bark.

Is there a place to wash the sand from the paws?

We used to have an area that welocmed dogs on the beach, but I think it is gone. We do have dog parks, though.

There is a wash area for two legged and four legged friends Erv~. LOL~ We are quite lucky to have the beaches for our dogs. Our Siberian Husky will not dare be left UN=LEASHED! He will run for days!
