Merry ChristmasOK, as a request of my very good friend Kevin LynottAlways predicted a sunny day, but never right yet!(a meteorologist with NOAA out in Wyoming) , today’s Fun topic is what is your favorite Christmas Holiday Season Movie. I have a few favorites that are always a must. Absolutely, National Lampoon’s Christmas Holiday Vacation is top of my list. Christmas Holidays with the Kranks (Ok, I’ll stop with the PC,) Elf, A Christmas Story…I like the newer movies if you couldn’t tell. Maybe your favorite is on this list from before 1991. Maybe it was one of the original Christmas Carols? I almost forgot about Emmet Otters Jug Band Christmas.

I will go vote - but my favorite is Jimmy Stewart in It's a Wonderful Life.  And the animated Nightmare before Christmas - maybe not a favorite but certainly a fun title!

My favorite is "We're no angels". It's a Bogart movie unlike any you've seen before. We watch it every Christmas in our house.

My wife insists on watching "Prancer" (gag me with a spoon!)..."Christmas w/ the Kranks" was a delightful surprise, in spite of poor reviews.

I also love National Lampoons Christmas Vacation for a good laugh!!

But, for a more serious movie, I love Polar Express.  In my opinion.....20-30 years from now, Polar Express will be considered a classic!

Hi Bob:  I like the Miracle on 34th Street... but I have a newer Christmas movie that I saw first on cable perhaps four years ago, and enjoyed it, although it was interrupted by commercials a gazillion times, which of course, ruined it.  So, I ordered it online, and for the past three years have watched in once or twice around Christmas.  It's called The Christmas Wife.  It stars Jason Robards and Julie Harris.  I live alone... well, with Mollie T. Cat, so it is a movie I can very much relate to.

I'm going with How the Grinch Stole Christmas also.

You''re a mean one.
Mr. Grinch.
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.
You're a bad banana...with a greasy black peel.

I'm going to head over to Focus on Fredrick, consider it my Christmas Present to  you.

A Christmas Story is good, but I had to Vote for Its a Wonderful Life (B&W version).  I hate the colorized version.  I watch that movie all the time.  I wore out 2 VHS versions of it (Thank goodness for DVD).  I watch it in JUly with my daughter to remind her that Christmas is coming, and santa is watching all year around.  Plus I just love the movie.

Great Poll, I wanted to post my Other here so that I could share a great cartoon that I enjoyed as a child that is rarely seen on tv anymore. The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus(1985). Thanks for the post. -cem

Well, since the voting wasn't disabled I voted.  3 times.  Had to clear my cache and everything.  But I had to make sure that your poll was consistent with this one.  LOL

It really is my favorite though.  I even own it.

Well the laugh is on me.  You don't even need to clear your cache to vote with PD.  I just voted a 4th time. =)  All that wasted time.  I could have thrown in another load instead.
