Baldric is the new word of the day.

OK all you military people you should know the meaning to this word.  Now for all of you non-military people you know what this looks like and I know you’ve seen one of these but did you know the name for it? This is still in use today and I cannot see it going away in the near future.  Now for the meaning of (bol’drik’) is a belt worn over one shoulder and across the chest to support a sword, bugle, etc.

Hi James,

It's been a long time since I needed to use that word. Not since 1982 when I got out of the Military Police.

Thanks for the reminder.

Best, Clint McKie
