Zillow's Directory of Real Estate Blogs

Zillow's Real Estate Wiki has been posted about at Activerain but I couldn't find any posts (my apologies in advance if I missed someone's post) about the Real Estate Blog Directory within the Wiki. The directory is by state and city. After a quick scan I saw that many active Activerain bloggers weren't listed so I thought I'd add a post as I thought most would like to know about this directory.

For those unfamiliar with a wiki, (in Hawaiian it means "fast") it is a piece of server software that allows users to freely create and edit Web page content using any Web browser. Wiki supports hyperlinks and has a simple text syntax for creating new pages and crosslinks between internal pages on the fly.

Glad you found the directory of real estate blogs we started!! I didn't purposely omit Active Rain blogs -- I just haven't had time to add them all myself (that's the great thing about the wiki -- everyone can help improve it!). We would certainly love everyone to add themselves under the appropriate category -- the only thing I ask is that bloggers attempt to maintain the alphabetical order that we started (to avoid arguments over who get's the spots highest on the page). Let me know if there are any questions.

I feel stupid, how do you add Nevada and Las Vegas area to that site?!?!

OK-so I feel really stupid-I tried to edit page and add my blog...but it's at the top and not in my state-how do i fix it?

It took me a couple of tries to figure it out too...

Click on "Edit this Page" then the little "edit" popup pos up. Don't click into it. Just scroll down to where you want to add something and click into the page. Start typing. Then you can highlight what you typed and add formatting or a hyperlink by using the tools in the popup thingy (it will follow you down the page).

Clear as mud, right? You'll get it. :)

Thanks for the info. I just added my link too. It also took me a couple of tries. I thought it was scary that I could edit anything on the page! Could someone go in and wipe out their competition? (not that they would!) ;-)
