Gail - Are you doing this?  What are you crazy?  Even the thought of plunging into icy cold water makes me shiver. Never mind the idea of wearing a bathing suit.......lol

Sandra, LOL - my big toe doesn't go into water colder than 80 degrees!  I don't even go to watch the event as it makes me shiver, but I try to post all the community events on my blog.

I laugh every year when I see these people going into the water on television in my area in Maryland!  I know it is for a good cause, but I would rather donate cash instead of jumping into that water!  We had a DJ last year do a super plunge and plunged into the water every hour for 24 hours straight (What a NUT!)

Michael, I always worry that someone will have a heart attack while doing this.  That's amazing about the DJ who went in the water every hour.  I'll bet it got his listeners' attention!
