Galveston Fishing

Have you ever considered a trip to Galveston Island? With all the island has to offer, why haven't you ? Galveston has somethhing for everyone in your family, and many of our in-town rentals are close to the fun.

First of all, Galveston has some of the best fishing on the upper Texas Coast. You could spend a day fishing from the piers catching redfish, catfish, or sharks. Or you may opt for quieter spots like Sports Mans Marsh, or you may want to do some beach fishing in areas like San Luis Pass on the west end of the island. There are also many fishing charter services here on the island that go out as far as the drilling rigs, or as close as Galveston Bay.

Or perhaps you or your group dont want to fish maybe a little shopping would be in order? Galveston Islands Strand district is home to many ecclectic shops and resturaunts that are bound to please any taste. While you are in the Strand you should visit the 1900 museum, the art museums and lofts, or possibly go see the Ocean Star Drilling Rig Museum.
