IT SNOWED TODAY IN THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS
Today we left Inveraray, Scotland and headed north into the famous Scottish Highlands. While only a few miles into our travels, we began seeing the light dusting of snow that had occurred overnight. The higher we climbed, the more abundant ths snow became. It was absolutely beautiful.
The Highlands are not that high in elevation as our Rocky Mountains in the States but they are as equally as beautiful. With each turn we were met with the most gorgeous of vistas. The air is crisp and clean and there are sheep dotting the slopes all over the place.
We drove up to Glenco, Ballychulisch and finally to our final destination today in Fort William. Simply gorgeous! I will share more tomorrow about the incredible castle that we are residing in tonight at Inverlochy. I do feel like a princess!
