You be the judge...

Managing Real Estate Broker with Coldwell Banker Elite
The real estate bloggers are all a twitter about an agent’s new video blog. You be the judge… Is it funny and creative or demeaning and insulting? Does it get the message across? I happen to think the Real Estate Zebra is very creative and did a great job with this. How do you think the consumers will respond?

I like that tune in the background.  Nice presentation. Sensible and to the point.

I think it is clever too!  Buyers won't care, however, and won't watch it.  They don't think their house is overpriced!!

OOPs....I meant sellers won't care. Not buyers.  Buyers always think houses are overpriced. : )

I thought it was funny but I don't see how it will get any seller or buyer to call that Realtor or what the intention of the clip was for.

I think it's stupid ! Let's all drop the home prices down until we go into a huge recession and then we'll be making NO dollars and house prices will STILL stay high, because anybody can add on if they need more space ( well, most of the time). Bad market for selling = great market for remodelers...not good for realtors...

And people DO NOT buy ANYTHING because of price, and you will find that in all the psych books. They buy out of emotion...OTHERWISE...we'd all drive litte efficient black cars and live in plain jane houses in neighborhoods with no trees...Dumb video..

Cute video. Buyers these days are buying on price more than in a long time. Price is so important.

The zebra is my hero.  He has put to video everything I am blabbing daily to my sellers.  Price price price.

Creative - and I think it drives the point home. I respectfully disagree with Sam - I hear what he is saying - but I don' think the video says "drop the price"; I think it says make the price competitive.

Happy holidays.
