We just had to get away from the phones, the house, the email and all the great and wonderful business we are experiencing right now. It is important that no matter how busy you get you take time out to rejuvenate, recuperate and regenerate! That meant to even get away from my laptop!
So we went to see National Treasure, Book of Secrets with Nicolas Cage, one of my favorite actors. I admire Nicolas for making it on his own. He even changed his name so that he could make it on his own name and not depend on his family name to make it big on the screen. Director Jon Turteltaub did a good job with the twists and turns and adding Native American details to the movie. It was rated PG and we brought our 5 year old to see it. There was no blood or bad words so it met my criteria, it is a great family movie, fun and adventurous, a great way to learn about some bits of history of our great country.
After the movie was over, Nestor asked me if I thought for a moment about any of our deals, offers or listings while I was watching the movie and I could honestly say NO! I was involved in the movie, in the entertainment and in the bits of rich history throughout the movie. And that was a good thing tonight!
I recommend going to see National Treasure, Book of Secrets. Oh, we saw the previews for the sequel to Narnia coming out next year! We will be sure to be there on opening night for the continued adventure.
I had this great video from Disney's website with a clip from the movie but I had to delete it because whenever you come to my blog it plays even if you are reading another post of mine. So I found it to be distracting to the reader. I could not figure out a way to load the clip with giving the option of play. It seems to just auto load. So sorry about that.
