Mission Heights condominium community
Mission Heights, built from 1977 to 1980, is a condominium community of 116 units in zip code 92108 in the eastern section of Mission Valley. Units range in size from 667 to 1,127, and floor plans (bedrooms/bathrooms) include 1/1, 2/2, and 3/2. The 1/1 units are popular with flight attendants and pilots, and as second or vacation homes.
Amenities at Mission Heights include swimming pool, spa, club house, picnic areas, and community laundry facilities.
HOA fees range from $200 to $285 per month and include common area maintenance, exterior building and roof maintenance, landscaping, trash pickup, water, sewer, and limited insurance.
Mission Heights is close to Qualcomm Stadium and easily accessible to the University of San Diego, San Diego State University, Fashion Valley Mall, several San Diego Trolley stations, SeaWorld, Mission Bay, Old Town, and downtown San Diego.
Walkers, joggers, and bikers will enjoy the concrete paths along the San Diego River from Qualcomm Stadium on the east end of Mission Valley all the way to Mission Bay, Ocean Beach, and Mission Beach on the west end, a distance of about seven miles.

A check with the FHA indicates that Mission Heights is not FHA approved. Its approval expired on May 31, 2011, and has not been renewed. It also is not VA approved.
