Perfection

Don’t let the title of this post fool you, as it has nothing to do with flawlessness. And besides, perfection and Home Inspections cannot coexist, right?  My job and livelihood depends on proving that everyday here in Northwest Ohio.

Anyway, the title has to do with the game of Perfection. Do you remember?

Let me quickly refresh. When playing you had to quickly put the shapes into the appropriate molds in an allotted amount of time before the whole thing went "pop" and sent all those little yellow shapes airborne.

This recent attic inspection immediately made me think of the game.

A square replacement screen in an octagon hole? Hmmmmmm, "Pop" goes perfection... ( surely you remember the tune )

Now it may not seem like a big deal, but when a family of birds, bats, or other creatures make a home in your attic cause of this "open door", you then realize the importance of the screen. Of course a screen that covers the entire area works much better.

Perfection? Not even close.
