Birkdale is a beautiful neighborhood in Huntersville that is located near shopping, dining, and interstate 77.  Birkdale Village is one of the main attractions!  There are nearly 1000 homes in Birkdale and the majority of them were built between 1996 and 2004.  There are a wide variety of homes, including apartments, townhomes/condos, and single family homes, in quite a range of prices.

There are currently 3 townhomes/condos listed in the Multiple Listing Service.  The average list price is $186,566 with an average of 1,351 square feet and all have private garages.  Within the past 6 months, 4 townhomes/condos have sold.  The average sale price was $181,000 and the sellers received 98% of their asking prices.  All of these homes had garages and the average DOM (days on market) was only 48!  Birkdale's townhomes/condos clearly appeal to buyers!!

Right now, there are 47 single family homes listed in the Multiple Listing Service.  The average list price is $368,136, but there is quite a range from $209,000 up to $700,000 to choose from.  The average square footage of the homes on the market is 2,584 square feet.  Within the past 6 months, 58 single family homes in Birkdale have sold.  These homes had an average DOM of 54, which is just slightly longer than the townhomes/condos that sold in Birkdale within the past 6 months.  These homes sold for $367,537 on average and sellers received 97% of their asking prices!

This lovely community features a club house, golf course, playground, pool, recreation area, and tennis courts.
