A very Merry Christmas from The Home Team Radio Show. We will be broadcasting live as usual this Sunday on 540 WFLA in Central Florida at 12 noon Eastern and worldwide at http://www.540wfla.com/
On this week's busy show we have a special guest - Nancy Riley, President of the Florida Association of Realtors - will be answering questions on property taxes and she will take calls from our listeners.
In addition to that, we will be talking about why Marco rubio is backing a citizen led drive for an alternative property tax addendum.
The President signed two documents this week - an extension of tax relief on Mortgage Insurance and an abolition of tax on forgiven loans.
We will be looking at why Florida Governor Charlie Crist has hired three trial lawyers to look at the insurance companies appear to be ignoring new law passed in the State last January designed to cut rates. Against that back drop, AllState plan to appeal the State's rejection of their 41% average increase demand!
And why is the White House being asked to produce documents regarding Fannie Mae? Conspiracy theory or real problem?
Finally and under the heading of "are you kidding me?" we discuss a lawsuit filed by small barrier island property owners trying to invalidate the designation of 6,200 acres as "protected beach mouse habitat". Uh huh. Nope. I'm not kidding!
All this and more plus your calls on 407 916 5400 or toll free from outside the Greater Orlando area on 1-866-916-5400.
