April 11, 2012 --- Camelot - 26 ran thru, 13 sold to #10/Feed Lot.

These13 Feed Lot horses are located at Camelot Auction House, 43 Brickyard Road, Cranbury, NJ. Proprietor is Frank: (609) 448-5225. CAMELOT ANSWERS THEIR PHONE BETWEEN 8 A.M - ABOUT 4:3O P.M. -- BUSINESS HOURS. BEFORE OR AFTER THAT YOU WILL GET THE MACHINE. To ensure you get your horse, if you leave a message, call again during business hours to confirm that they got the message, and wrote your ph. number, down correctly so that you actually get the horse. .

#202 – Aged Belgian Draft Geld aged 18 hds, he was very sweet in the pen, took treats he did have a hard time chewing them so I lifted his lip, poor man has no top teeth, he lifted his feet rode through at a walk, and drives. Needs some TLC but a sweet old man. . . . $500

 

#203 – 15-16 yr old 16.1 hds Belgian Draft Mare, she was calm in the pen, didnt know what treats were but was very curious of them and what I was doing. She drives single and double rode thru western at a w/t . . . .$600

 

#204 – Registered Haflinger Mare foaled in 2000 (12 yrs old) 12 hands she was nervous but calm in the pen, she lifted all 4, she has a weepy left eye, with some possible vision imparement on the left side,she was better when you approached her from her right side instead of her left side, but rode through nicely at a w/t said to ride single and double. She didnt know what treats were . . .$325


#208 – 5 yr old chestnut Gelding with a bald face 13 hands, he was very curious with his surroundings, and nervous at the same time didn't know why he was there, He rode through western w/t seemed to have some speed to him . . $425

 

#210 – 5 yr old Chestnut Appaloosa Gelding 15 hds, he was very scared in the pen, but he wasn't mean about it, seemed confused a few minutes of some gentle coaxing and talking too and he lowered his head and allowed me to touch all over, he was nervous picking up his feet but wasnt mean about it. He was led through but said to ride, possible green broke. He needs a better home and some groceries. . $275

 

#211 - 16.1 hand Draft Gelding was led thru. Althought he arrived to the sale sound; he became cast underneath the pipe corral fencing and is now extremely uneven in the rear, should not have to travel and will need to be evaluated by a vet. Could be a back issue, was said to ride and drive but with his injury will have to wait and see if he becomes sound . . . $250

 

#217 – 7 yr old Black Mare with a blaze and snip 14.3 hds she was nervous in the pen confused as to what was going on, there seems to be a brand on her front left leg but its not legible, said to ride but was led through nicely built. . . .$525

 

#221 – 15 yr old arab Chestnut Pony Mare with blaze 13.1 hands she was nervous but curious in the pen, she seems to have some old rear end scars on her hock area almost to where a cart bag would lay, she loved treats said to ride but was led through . . . $200

 

#222 – 7 yr old Chestnut QH mare 16 hds HEAVILY in foal she is bred to a bucksin stud w/ dapples and is due to foal in no more then 30 days, she came from a top QH breeding barn and while she is registered you will not get her papers she is being sold as a grade QH, but is said to have great blood lines She is broke to ride but has been a broodmare for the last 3 or so years . . . $700

 

#225 – 7 yr old Standard Grey possible pregnant Jenny Donk, very sweet and personable in the pen was led thru . . .$300

 

#226 – 3 year old standard Grey Donkey Jack very quiet and sweet in the pen, he was led thru . . .$150

 

#227 – yearling Grey Donkey john 10 hds or so, he was super sweet and loved to have his head rubbed. He and 225 were nuzzling together super cute. . . . $225

 

#228 – 2 yr old Appaloosa intact Colt with a full blanket 13.2 hands, curious and very well mannered. He will make a great gelding. Ridden through at a walk green broke needs some TLC and time to grow up more. . . .$200

Tara, I hope your post helped some of these horses find a home.  Some of them looked like they had a lot of potential.
