Atherton is one of the most exclusive addresses in Silicon Valley. This blog, “… Homes For Sale Under $XM,” has been part of a weekly series of reports featuring relatively-affordable homes in Silicon Valley communities such as Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Palo Alto, and Los Altos/Los Altos Hills. After a couple months of having no homes in Atherton (and several of these other cities) to report, I’ve expanded the price ceiling to $2,000,000. Even with this adjustment, only 2 of the 19 homes currently on the market in Atherton (not including those in escrow) qualify for this list. As in many Silicon Valley cities, Atherton home prices are returning to the higher levels of previous years.
