new construction in franklin maBuyer Agents, listing agents are experiencing a shortage of resale listings.  Do you know what that means to you?  It means you need to become familiar with the new construction inventory in your area.

Builders are putting in foundations to take advantage of the increase in activity and the number of pending sales of their new products.  Builders want the momentum to continue and that will happen only if they continue to build and replenish the pending inventory.

Buyer agents must become familiar with the products that are available.  If new construction has never been your favorite sale, start a new journey and make new construction your first stop when showing homes to your clients.

Everyone loves a new home.  It's an easy sale.  Buyers always enjoy making selections and watching the home progress.  It’s the ultimate in purchasing a home.  Nothing is more desirable than a new home to any age group.

Some buyer agents are intimidated by the thought of selling something that has not been built.  Learn how to work this phase of real estate.  It may make the difference between having a good year and not surviving at all.

The market has changed quickly and we need to change with it.  New homes are now at the top of the list of preferred products.  Capture as much of it as you can before the market changes again.

Barbara, What you said sounds great. I can not imagine any agent worth his or her salt that does not keep up with all the inventory in their niche!

When I first started in real estate, I spent many, many days visiting new home builders, looking at model homes, and checking out their inventory. It was time well spent, and provided a good jump-start to my new career.
