One of the first things my husband and I looked for after purchasing our home in Desert Vista were veterinary services for our two feline family members Judy and Wilma. After several phone interviews and referrals from new neighbors I settled on Shea Animal Hospital and Dr. Rick Sampson.
Dr. Rick moved to Phoenix from Missouri after graduating from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and worked in emergency veterinary medicine before joining the staff at Ingleside Animal Hospital and then 11 years later opening Shea Animal Hospital with his wife Rita in 1991.
I have the greatest respect for Dr. Rick and all the staff at Shea Animal Hospital and from the moment you walk in you get the feeling that they genuinely care about the pets they treat. Judy and Wilma are long time patients of Dr. Rick and they have come to trust him, as I have, with their care.
