Welcome to Lawrence Park East and Lawrence Park West Condominiums, close to the heart of Piermont, New York.
Most of these condos are one level, on either the first or second floor and they are either 1 bedroom, 1 bathor or 2 bedroom, 1 bath units. The units range in square footage from 601 square feet to 1069 square feet. There are some duplexes and these are 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath and 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath units. The square footage for these duplexes is between 1214 square feet to 1654 square feet.
There are two parts to this complex. One section is on the east side of Route 9W and is called Lawrence Park East. The other section is on the west side of Route 9W and is called Lawrence Park West.
This complex was built in 1965 and many of the units have been upgraded to include sparkling hardwood floors, kitchens with beautiful, new wooden cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, ceramic tile floors, and lovely backsplashes.
Each condo has assigned parking in the parking lot and there are individual storage units for each condo.
As you can see from the picture above, if you live on the first floor there are few to no steps to enter your unit. This makes it very convenient when bringing groceries into your kitchen.
Residents share the common laundry facilities that are in the buildings.
Many of the units have scenic views of woods, the Sparkill creek, or beautifully landscaped courtyards, from their decks and patios.
As a pet lover, I am happy to say that cats are allowed in this complex.
Amenities at Lawrence Park Condominiums include an outdoor pool and a clubhouse.
Commuting to NYC is very convenient from this condo complex. There is a bus that goes to NYC and the bus stop is close by.
There are many highways nearby, too, such as the Palisades Interstate Parkway (PIP), the NYS thruway(I-87), the George Washington Bridge (15 minutes from Piermont), the Tappan Zee Bridge (5 minutes from Piermont) which leads to Westchester and Connecticut, the Garden State Parkway and I-287, which lead to Northern NJ locations.
At the time of the writing of this article, there are three units on the market. One is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit being offered at $179,000. There are two 2 bedroom, 1 bath units for sale and they are listed at $249,000 and $259,000 respectively.
Between January 1, 2011 and the time of the writing of this article, eight units have sold in this development. Five 1 bedroom, 1 bath units sold for between $155,000 and $187,500. Two 2 bedroom, 1 bath units sold for $220,000 and $233,000 respectively. One 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath condo sold for $250,000.
