"good" SUCKS!

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty ONE Group

The first line in the book is "Good is the Enemy of Great" writes Jim Collins in the book Good To Great.  That statement is so true.  I my mind Good SUCKS! Why settle for good anything, when GREAT is possible?

Good is average and I AM NOT AVERAGE!

It is so important to get the right people "on the bus."  Personally & professionally. Why would I settle for hiring someone on my team that was merely "good".

I am looking for TALENT~Someone GREAT!

When someone asks "how are you today?" and you reply with a "good"..... BOOO!!! GOOD SUCKS! Try responding with a "I'm GREAT!" and see how the world responds to you.  I want others around me personally & professionally that raise the bar for me.

If you haven't read it, RUN...don't walk to go get the book "Good To Great".  To my mentor in 2008, Jeffery Rogers.  That was a pivotal year in my life.  Thank you

The better we are, the better we feel about ourselves, and the better we can contribute to others.

If someone hasn't reached their full potential, I want to always welcome them personally and provide them with as much help as I can to allow them to find their way to reach their full potential.

Greatness is measured differently in different people.

Greatness for one may be the person in the wheelchair who one day learns to walk.

Greatness for another may be taking a good profit margin, and making it more efficient and effective, and increasing revenues.

It could be in reaching a goal that we were once afraid of, or haven't conquered yet that will help enhance us.

Greatness can be measured in a moment, a day, a period, or a lifetime.
