One man's junk is another man's treasure so check out the Monterey Hill Community Yard Sale! Never know what goodies you will find!
Hi Michael - That one will draw some crowds for sure. And if I lived there I might be tempted, but that's the day for El Clasico - Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, and that's what I'm going to be doing.
Michael, this sounds like fun. I usually don't go to these because I come home with the oddest assortment of things and books, lots of books, books that no one else would read.
BTW, you need to get rid of that rusty bridge and put your handsome face in its place!
Dick -- I can see where your priorities lie!
Suzanne -- I don't participate at least in the shopping portion of such events -- donating is more my thing. As far as the photo, I think that rusty old bridge -- the Colorado Street Bridge is far more handsome both in person and in photography.
Great reason to do that spring house cleaning and get rid of all of the un-necessaries. Terrific community event too.
Roger -- you are right -- out with the old(stuff, that is!)

Michael - Our community has yard sales twice a year outside the gates and they are very popular. Hopefully the weather cooperated yesterday.
Hi Michelle - the Monterey Hills Community Yard Sale was early in the day(finished by 12 noon) -- before it got too warm. These types of events are great way for neighbors to gather and to clear up(those things someone no longer needs) and to clean up(some great new-to-you treasures). Have a wonderful Earth Day.
