13 Comments on Home Staging Tips: Make It Work & Move-In Ready!
My goodness, a little money and staging knowledge made such a difference. Thanks for sharing this with us. It will help us to be more aware of needing to be creative.
Betty
That's the way to do it Julie, even on a tight budget. Well done!
Hi Julie ~ Easy and inexpensive updates are the best when selling. That bathroom is very deja-vu for me ... my childhood bathroom had pink and gray fixtures, tub, and shower -- even the floor tiles carried the color scheme. This photo shows buyers they can live with it for a while, now that you've done a few easy updates.
Hi Betty - A Stager can work with any budget. I'd rather have a client spend money on those things that will stay with the house, as well as help sell it - like new light fixtures.
Thanks, Roger - It's sure to appeal to the target buyer.
Maureen - As we discussed, my current bathroom has yellow and black tiles. Many people in this area still appreciate the vintage charm. However, it still has to be in great condition!
Julia, you have given us some of the greatest examples I have ever seen of the power of staging. These examples are on a shoestring or no budget! Keep up the great work!
Hi Sharon - Thank you! The money spent here will stay with the house - all for the new owners!
Another great transformation, Julia... just goes to show, money spent properly will achieve the greatest return!
Thanks, Peggy! The Seller made wise decisions!
Hahaha, Valerie - no glass??? The bathroom now looks very tasteful, in an Art Deco sort of way.
Wendy - I think you nailed it with "responsible". As a professioanl, I won't recommend unnecessary expenditures.
Julie - That's incredible - I grew up with those exact cupboards in our kitchen growing up - very '70's! Love the clear glass - what a difference.
