13 Comments on Vintage Vehicles in Dillsboro, NC ~ Speechless Sunday
Good morning Mona,
Lovely examples of history, the Town of Dillsboro should be proud of these Vintage Vehicles on display!
Red, my favorite color! Just as charming as you, Leslie and Dillsboro! Part Three is ready for you Mona, it's been posted. ;~)
Is that top one an Allis Chalmers? It looks just like one Chief Cook has a picture of with herself driving as a child. That was quite a sentence. And, the bottom one is right up my alley, I really enjoy the vintage cars, I have a 1950 Ford pickup and and 1953 Chevy sedan delivery.
My father owns several and we always went to many car shows as I grew up. Reminds me of him! Have an awesome Sunday Mona!
Good morning Mona. The truck and the car are wonderful, capturing a time gone by and a feeling of all is well. Your town sounds special.
This reminds me of a song.... Do you think my tractor is sexy ... or something like that. And yes - that shiny red tractor is sexy!
Good Morning Mona, That looks like a ford tractor that I learn to drive at a very young agent on my uncle farm.
Lisa, they look good, don't they and yes, I believe the Town of Dillsboro enjoys hosting the antique cars.
Shucks Roger...I'll have to read Chapter 3...not tonight, it's been a hard day's night for me.
Ron, I should have guessed that since you love antiques you'd also love vintage vehicles.
Tammy, that must have been so much fun.
Sheila, this town is special...must be since we've been in it for a while.
Belinda, lol...something like that.
Will, very funny...most of us were just young boys or girls...you were a young agent.
Mona,
Those are beauties!
Mona, I love, Love, LOVE that red tractor in your first photo! WOW!!! :)
Leilani
Something about old vehicles and small country towns! Not much of that left in Southwest Florida. Enjoy your day!
Clever sentense. The things you come up with continue to amaze. How about horse and carraige.
DeeDee, they are and really speak to the pride of the owner.
Leilani, it is stunning. Wonder how many farmers managed to keep theirs looking like that?
Wayne, no...you'd probably have to go to the middle of the state or the panhandle, but I'll be there still are some there.
Allen, how about love and marriage? You are so good for my ego...it suffers badly as you know.
