41st Annual Historic Harbor House Tour of Fell's Point, Maryland
Sunday, May 13th 2012, 11 am-5 pm
Baltimore is embarking on a huge regional commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812 that highlights the people and places that were important during that conflict. Fell’s Point and its people played a pivotal role in the war as it was home to shipbuilders, innkeepers, laborers, seamstresses, militia, merchants and privateers.
Today, Fell’s Point is a wonderful mix of old and new and one can still find 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century homes as well as new construction and architecture. Please join us in discovering what makes Fell’s Point such a vibrant Baltimore neighborhood by attending the 41st Annual Historic Harbor House Tour of Fell’s Point, set to take place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13th, 11 am-5 pm. The event benefits The Preservation Society and is a self-guided tour through the streets of historic Fell’s Point.
Tickets are $15.00 per person in advance and $20.00 the day of the event, which will take place rain or shine. They can be purchased at the Fell’s Point Visitor Center by calling 410-675-6750, ext. 16 or by logging onto the web site at www.preservationsociety.com and using PayPal.
I am pleased to announce that I helped created the graphics and marketing promotional material for this event with Colleen Doyle of Doyle Communications.
