I'm Into Time Capsules Today

Cheryl, Wow that's amazing. The world has changed a lot since then. I noticed several things:  women wore long dresses, people looked older than they were, and NO one was smiling.  Everyone looked so sad.  Maybe we are happier today.  Thanks for sharing these photos.

Cheryl, thanks for sharing. I wonder how many of the people I viewed have changed the world throughout their life. What were their professions, how did they pass, history we may never know, but yet they live through photographs.

Cheryl, What a terrific site!  My mother has some really old shots, she would love to see that and I enjoyed it myself!  I never would have found that, thanks for pointing it out!

Cheryl - Thanks for sharing I love photos from different time periods.  My husband while searching on the Internet found old photos of his grandparents, he could actually purchase them but the instruction was in Norwegian.  These were picture he had never seen, so it was a treat.

Hi Cheryl ~ Funny - this post popped up while I was searching for info on time capsules in my town (I spotted one while on a picture taking walk, recalled another, and figured that called for a post).

I'm psyched to know about the flickr group - I just joined.  Before I was a real estate agent I was an archivist. I've loved old paper and old houses since I was little.
