Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Happy New Year!

Crye-Leike Wishes You a Merry Christmas

I'm curious how everyone celebrates the holidays.

  • Tonight I will have dinner with my family.
  • We always have some family that travels into town or we travel out of town.
  • Hopefully santa will visit us as we sleep tonight. In the words of my son - we hope we made "good choices" this year so Santa will be happy with us.
  • Tomorrow we will lounge around and test out any new toys we get.
  • We will not work tomorrow. Just relax.
  • We'll eat something really yummy for breakfast.
  • We open presents one by one - youngest to oldest. First the youngest gets to open one, then the next, and the next, until we get through all the gifts.

Hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday.

What is your tradition?

Angie, Merry Christmas.  I'm sure Santa will be stopping by your house tonight while you sleep.  I'll cook Christmas Dinner tomorrow for my family and then in the afternoon when everyone leaves to visit friends and other family members, I will get to relax.

Sounds nice Judi! Hope you have a great time. Are you cooking traditional fare or something different?

Angie,  I'm cooking traditional fare -- turkey, cajun dirty rice dressing, cornbread dressing, green beans, candied yams, lemon meringue pie, pecan pie, dinner rolls. and probably whatever else I find in the fridge and pantry while I'm cooking.  :)

Hi Angie, we have a nice get together with my parents and have a great meal.  I have found over the years we cannot eat as much as we use to, wonder what happened to that part of the tradition?  LOL, I do not  need to keep up as we use to.   Take care, and have a Great New Year.
