Activity remains steady with prices inching up as inventory levels remain stable to modestly contracting in waterfront homes. The unknown factor in the market is number of foreclosure sales and how they will effect values. Foreclosure sales are typically sold at liquidation value, not market value which simply means the market exposure is accelerated to force a sale in 90 days or less. With such aggressive marketing it can offer a great opportunity for buyers, however cause market values to decline for sellers.
