Twas the Week Before Christmas - And All thru the Hood

Thought you all may enjoy this poem I wrote with a little help from a friend!

Twas the week before Christmas and all thru the "hood"
Home sales prices were dropping, but the rates remained good!

All Realtors were crying
All Closers were sad
All Office Staff TRYING!
But the Brokers were still mad!

The Media was being, all doom and gloom

Set by large expectations, from the previous boom

But don't listen to them, for soon it will zoom

A good market for all, is soon to resume

Let's all set goals for a bright year to come

Get rid of the frowns, get rid of the glum

It will all be possible, so let's plan it that way

Plan for tomorrow and live life for today

Don't get caught thinking, or feeling of doubt

Cause if you do, tis sure to come about

OH  Wait, what is this up ahead?  A bright light that I see?

It's a Goal Seeking Realtor....Ron Stead......that is he!

He giggles, he chuckles, he says with a grin

Don't listen, don't fret, and then he begins!!

Don't listen to those reporters!
Don't listen to those having NO part!
Listen to me, listen closely, and listen to your heart!

Yes, times are slow
Yes, times are ruff
But I'm telling you hang in
We all just need to be tuff!

We're going to get thru this
We're going to prevail
Just take a deep breath
I've something to tell

We've seen this before
It's nothing real new
It's all going to cycle
That's just what it'll do

So take this time now
To enjoy family and friends
Cause come 2008, the fun is all set to begin!!!
