Thanks Active Rain...I think this is one of the best websites. When I signed up a few weeks ago I thought this would be like our sites I visited. I never imagined I would enjoy having a place to share my thoughts and opinions.
Now not a day that goes by without logging on to AR to read what other members are saying and, or make a comment. I feel my blogs are immature compared to others I have seen, but I believe with a little practice I will provide insightful information like many of the other members.
I took the last hour writing what I thought was a good blog. I wrote about the books I read. My thoughts and feeling on my business today, my mindset as a whole, and guess what? I lost my information. I don't want to take the time write it all again, I am tired and it's late. I've learned a lesson here and the lesson is to type my blog in Word first then add it to AR.
With that said I will attempt to recreate what I was working on before I lost it.
The last 2 months have been quite challenging for me. I have used my downtime to educate myself by reading various books. The books I have read or am reading are "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth", "How to Master the Art of Selling", "Jeffrey Gitomer's Little Red Book of Selling", "The Rough Guide to Blogging" and "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent".
With each book I read I use information that the author provides to better my business.
I know that the real estate market in the Atlanta area is still very active. I meet an average of ten people each day that have recently relocated to the Metro Atlanta area, or Gwinnett County.
Someone is selling homes, it just hasn't been me. I can't continue this way so what do I do? I have learned from these books and from blogging that I must think outside the box. I have to set my sights high in order to be successful. It's imperative that I think "BIG", if not I am limiting myself. If set my sights high I will achieve and that's the plan or me. No negative thoughts here and No Limits!
The last 2 or 3 nights I have been up until about 2 AM, trying to figure out what I needed to do to earn a better place on AR. Every day since Monday I have earned just a few more points. I really like the point system....I realize that if I worked it I would be in a better position and that's what I've done.
I am setting my goals, and I plan on achieving them. I thank all the AR members who have encouraged and provided help advice. If I can be of assistance just ask. I think of this as my first real blog, so provide me with some feedback. Thanks Again!
