Did I mention "We sold a House Every 17 hours last year?" It made me think that all Realtors and companies could do the same if they analyzed their data and came up with "statements" based on any number of sales statistics.

So, here's the challenge: TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR STATISTICS FROM LAST YEAR and join us in this post in placing your STATISTIC(S) in the COMMENT section. Let us all see your SOCO (Single Orverriding Communication Objective).

I know I've been absent for a time, but we're still cranking out the business, and planning, planning, planning!

Hi Bill,

Yes, that's right YIKES. Our SOCO is simply: "We sold a House Every 17 hours last year?" It gets people's attention, and my brokerage's stats support that claim. We sold 515 homes last year.

A SOCO is as I noted your Single Overriding Communication Objective. In advertising and promotion/marketing, SOCO's are quick and to the point, BUT THEY TELL A BIG STORY. Selling a home every 17 hours over the entire year IS A BIG STORY.

This SOCO has been instrumental in us launching daily TV commercials...more on SOCOs in tomorrow's blog post!

Terry, Thanks for the info. I only perform the Audits, make suggestions, and then test out. I can't take all the credit for the retrofit. The contractor I often work with on the EEM's gets great results. The last one we worked on together is at almost 40%. So when is Dreams Realty going to start working on peoples green dreams?

Energy retrofits save an average of $850 a year on Energy.

Thanks, Rob -- but do you get the idea of SOCOs. So maybe it's "Our energy retrofits save an average of 26% on energy!" Speaking of going green and green dreams...not everyone dreams in color!

I see it's supposed to be more personalized to your business.

Every body Dreams in Green because every one likes to save money. Energy retrofits are the only ones that pay themselves back and them save money. That's a dream come true.
