Manic Monday - NOW THAT'S A SPIDER!

By
Real Estate Agent with SHAHAR Management

Yesterday I was running outside to take out the garbage and THANK GOODNESS I looked down because otherwise I would have stepped on this monster in my bare feet.  If that had happened I probably would have been bit by who knows what kind of spider and the whole neighborhood would have heard my screams of horror.   Spiders and Deb not a good mix with bare feet.  eeewwww!

That critter looks like it belongs in a horror movie, Debra!  Being barefoot when you came upon it, had to be unsettling!

OH MY  - that was HUGE.  Debra, did you just jump back into the house or what?  I've finally gotten used to the taruntulas around here, but I always worry about my dogs.  Their sting is supposed to have less venom than a bee's, but I just don't want to find out, LOL.

Hi Debra, I think this thing must have been someone's pet that got off it's leash. Gee, We have birds smaller than that, LOL.

Hi Debra,

I hate snakes and spiders. I like lizards, prey mantis, bees and ladybugs...but I hate spiders. Nice gross picture and so glad you did not step on it. EEEEEKKKKK!

Debbie,

That certainly is one large critter. We have large banana spiders, but that is a hefty one. :)

Wow, that IS a spider, Deb. He looks more like something we might see down here in the woods. Glad you saw him before you stepped on him.

Oh my!! That IS most definately a spider! Lucky for me here in Florida we deal mainly with gators! (lol) I am sooo afraid of bugs! I would have followed it till I knew it was dead!

Nope, not happening Debra! We do not have spiders like this in Alaska. Ours are itty bitty or daddy long legs with the occasional brown recluse. No snakes, no big spiders and the only cockroaches I have seen are in many unit (unkempt buildings) apartment complexes and I am GOOD with that! I am glad you didn't step on it though. :)
