Carol Stream Police Department has openings for an 11-week Adult Citizen Police Academy that begins on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Carol Stream Village Hall from 6:30-9:30. Class continue until Thursday, April 3rd, 2008. The enrollment deadline is Monday, January 21, 2008.
People interested in enrolling must be at least 18 years of age and live or work in Carol Stream. They must agree to a background check if accepted into the program.
Topics include crime scene investigation, juvenile laws, gang and drug enforcement, accident investigation, DUI enforcement, firearms training, SWAT, community policing and other relative topics.
