It is that time of year again the warm weather is gradually replacing the snow and ice (at least in our area). It is time to think about what to do to get away. May I be so bold as to suggest Southern Utah? We have many amazing areas to visit, and the scenery is just breathtaking. I know that I am biased, and I will be honest, I always have been. The only thing that we’re missing here in Utah is the Ocean! The Great Salt Lake doesn’t quite compare to the actual ocean.
We do have a number of fantastic lakes and reservoirs, large bodies of water like Lake Powell and small lakes like Trial Lake on the Boulder Mountain. Some of these have major highways connecting them with the rest of the World, and others require a hike to get to. There are lakes that are wonderful boating lakes and some that are equally wonderful fishing lakes.
What we are most famous for (other than skiing) is our Red Rocks. We have a lot of red rocks as a matter of fact, they’re all over the Southern Part of the state, from Monument Valley to St. George. We have entire National Parks dedicated to these wonderful red rocks. I could fill books (and this blog) with photos, but then you would have no reason to come and see for yourself! I will add a few teasers, but if you want to really see them, come on up and see for yourselves!

That is beautiful. Why not hold an AR conference that we can attend - say in the early fall? :)
